Finally... A mini shop update!!

As hinted at in my last blog post, I've been a bit overwhelmed by external circumstances over the past few months and the shop has sadly taken a backseat. At the end of September, I moved out into a new place - it is not so far from where I have been living over the past two years but it has taken quite a while to get settled in (and have our internet installed!!!). 

I'm finally beginning to get organised and have some pretty new listings to share... with more to come soon! Despite moving home, I still have access to the yard where I take pictures for the shop, so I will continue taking photos there, whenever the winter clouds lift. Hope you enjoy these new pieces...The blouse is a beauty!

Shop Update

I'm pleased to finally have a mini shop update to share with you! In between a busy time at work, a never-ending winter cold and some very uncooperative weather, the shop has been placed on the back burner... but I hope that is set to change! I have just listed these four lovely pieces and I'm drafting a few more items, which I'll be posting over the weekend.

It's been a little quiet on this blog since I got back from my time away but hopefully these listings will make up for it! Today's update is one of my favourites so far - lots of lovely dresses from the 40s to the 90s and a beautiful 70s maxi skirt. Take a look in the shop for all the details... Around the yard

Some photographs I took around the yard last weekend...

I took advantage of the sunshine to take lots of pictures for the shop... although I won't be using all of them. Here's a bag I thrifted and photographed... and then decided to keep! Whoops!

But no matter how tempting the other items were, they WILL be making their way into the shop. Even this beautiful green and gold taffeta dress will be up for sale soon. Expect an update any day now!

Twelve Days of Christmas

I'm back with no shop update and a rising pile of clothes waiting to be photographed... I've been sidelined with various things, including a busy time with my job, but less excusable than that: I've been too wimpy to brave the frost for outdoor photographs! But there will be more up in the shop soon and there are some really nice pieces queueing in my draft listings. In the meantime, I put together a little non-festive festive Etsy treasury list with a drummer drumming, pipers piping, lords-a-leaping, ladies dancing, maids-a-milking, swans-a-swimming, a goose-a-laying, the all important go-o-ld rings (fiiive of them), some colly birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and a partridge minus the pear tree!

First Post

After digging through vintage clothing rails and second-hand sales for many years, I've decided to open my own online shop, selling a selection of handpicked women's vintage clothing. 

I currently live in the North West of England but have scoured for vintage in all corners of the UK and sometimes even further afield. So, as well as British clothing, I'll be selling some unusual European and American items as well.
